Annual Fun-Raiser for Field of Dreams Project
Our annual Fun-Raiser sponsored by the Mount Tabor Baseball Family raises money for our Field of Dreams project. Jeff and Susan MacIntosh graciously host us in their wonderful home for an evening that includes great food, drinks and a raffle and silent auction with all proceeds going to our Carl R Sapp field improvements. Silent Auction items this year included: US Open golf tickets; a fully catered BBQ pig roast; a customized home awning; an IPOD; a full mounted taxidery; Dash Tickets; MT Baseball gear. Its also the night where families and friends plege their annual support for the on-going field improvement projects. As a Family, we have nearly raised all the funds needed to pay off Phase III of our project, with a total spend nearing $85,000 over the past year! Phase IV is in development already: A new scoreboard!

Pot Pies and Rib Dinners Satisfy Hungry Spartan Supporters!
The latest two fund-raisers fed hungry Spartan supporters in February and March. The MT Baseball Family sold 537 Ms. Pumpkin Chicken Pot Pies to set an all time record for PP sales! If you've never had a MPPP, you need to buy one next time around! Thanks again to Tammy McConnell for her terrific coordination!
Then, Mr George Jennings of Tiger BBQ, cooked up another tasty treat following his BBQ Butt dinners last fall. This time, full racks of baby back port ribs! Mmmmmm! Our first "rib fest" was a terrific success thanks to George and Lisa Jennings.
It looks like the Spartans have lined up some tasty fun-raising events for the entire calendar! Thanks to all for supporting our fund-raising efforts. All proceeds go to the annual Baseball Operations budget.

BBQ Butt Dinner a HUGE Success!
The Mount Tabor Baseball Family and friends raised $4,200 and sold 153 BBQ Butt Dinners in our Fall fund-raising event! Thank you George Jennings, our BBQ chef from Tiger BBQ, and his team of helpers who babysat each butt from 10am Thursday to noon Saturday, non stop. Tammy McConnell did awsome job coordinating the sales and pickup. In all, we had over 108 families participating in this event to make this our most successful single fund-raiser ever! All proceeds go toward baseball operations including turf management, the spring trip, baseball equipment, field repairs, hat and helmets, etc.
